Charities are being urged to abandon balloon releases in a Twitter a campaign.
The fifth edition of the Charity Finance Accounts Compliance Checklist will be published shortly. Written by Don Bawtree, head of BDO Stoy Hayward’s charities group, the new edition will incorporate all standards and sector guidance issued since 2005, including the latest guidance from the Charity Commission’s recent Sorp information sheet, the Statement of Principles for Public Benefit Entities and recent standards, including the amendment to FRS 17.
