Charities in Twitter storm over balloon releases
24 May 2012
Charities are being urged to abandon balloon releases in a Twitter a campaign.
Nobody would doubt that the Charity Commission, under the firm but fair hands of Andrew Hind and Dame Suzi Leather, has made huge strides in all kinds of areas in recent years.
Customer satisfaction levels are up, complaints are down, and now the Commission is testing whether its staff share similar warm fuzzies about the regulator.
It has commissioned a new staff survey, which launched on 11 March, to find out what the Commission’s employees think. Within a week of launch, more than 60 per cent of staff had responded. It closes on Friday, and the findings will be shared across the organisation in early April.
And the name of the consultancy engaged to run the survey? It’s called Happy Ltd. Wishful thinking, anyone? Guess we’ll find out in April.
