Who is the funding for? 
Leeds Building Society Foundation is offering grants to local charities who are supporting people in need of a safe and secure home. It is inviting applications from registered UK charities that deliver services in Yorkshire, Humberside and the North East regions. Charities can apply for core, project and/or capital costs.

Youth Endowment Fund

Grants available: No specific limit, but estimated £500,000 - £2m 
Deadline to apply: 25 November
Who is the funding for? 
The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) has opened applications for a £12.5m pot to fund six to ten projects. This funding round, which is called a trusted adult, is looking to fund projects where trusted adult relationships are at the core of an organisations project. In particular, YEF want to support children and young people who are at risk of violence or exploitation.

Social Investment Business – Recovery Loan Fund

Grants available: £100,000 - £1.5m 
Deadline to apply: Unspecified
Who is the funding for?
The Recovery Loan Fund is for UK charities and social enterprises based in England, Wales and Scotland that are improving people’s lives. To be eligible for the loan and grant, applicants must have been operating for a minimum of two years, have a minimum turnover of £400,000 in its last financial year and not be subject to any insolvency proceedings.

Sovereign & Crowdfunder

Grants available: up to £10,000
Deadline to apply: No deadline
Who is the funding for?
In a partnership by Crowdfunder and housing company Sovereign, Sovereign is offering to pledge up to 50% of a community group’s target up to £10,000. To be eligible for the match funding, applicants must have a Crowdfunding page, be delivering a project in 2022/23, be a registered charity or organisation and be located within three miles of a Sovereign Housing development.

Warm Somerset Spaces Fund

Grants available: up to £1,000
Deadline to apply: 31 October
Who is the funding for?
Somerset Community Foundation is offering grants to local charities to create warm spaces for people this winter. Funding will be awarded weekly to help charities respond rapidly to the cost-of-living crisis.
