RNIB is offering its social media followers the chance to see how their name looks in braille to raise awareness of the tactile language.
The campaign coincides with World Braille Day; which marks the birth of Louis Braille, who invented the system.
Twitter and Instagram users can ask RNIB to show them how their names look in braille, and the charity's social media team will then generate a unique image for them. See how Civil Society looks in braille in the image above.
So far the campaign has received a positive response from individuals and organisations and this morning’s Twitter post has been retweeted over 100 times, with over 100 people replying asking to see how their name looks.
RNIB is also taking the opportunity to ask people to donate when it sends them their name in braille.
