King Charles III Charitable Fund – Small Grants programme

Grants available: Up to £5,000
Deadline to apply: 15 May
Who is the funding for?
The monarch’s charitable fund has opened applications for its small grants programme, which awards up to £5,000 per year to approximately 100 community-based organisations.
Designed for small charities, applicants must have an annual income of less than £1m, be a UK-registered non-profit and have completed at least two years of activity. 
The grants will not be awarded to organisations tackling food waste, food insecurity or food poverty in the UK. Instead, they are being invited to apply to the foundation’s Coronation Food Project grant programme.

City Bridge Foundation – The Anchor Programme

Grants available: £50,000 - £150,000
Deadline to apply: 3 June
Who is the funding for?
The foundation’s Anchor Programme is offering long-term, core funding to second-tier organisations providing support to London’s frontline groups. 
The funding length is between seven and ten years, and eligible applicants must be providing one or more second-tier activities. These include policy and advocacy, capacity building, networking and relationships, communications and influencing, organisational hosting and research and thought leadership. 
The foundation wants to support organisations that can demonstrate its work is led by and for the people it works to support. 
Applicants must register their expressions of interest by 3 June. These will be reviewed by a shortlisting panel composed of civil society organisations and outcome emails will be sent to every applicant.
When will you hear back?
17 June – 15 July.

The Ogden Trust – Physics education grants

Grants available: Up to £5,000
Deadline to apply: 30 June
Who is the funding for?
The trust is awarding a number of grants of up to £5,000 to schools, colleges and other organsiations that wish to carry out projects or activities which support the learning of physics. 
It is expecting charities and education establishments to apply. Funding can be granted for the roll out of an existing scheme. 
When will you hear back?
Within two months of the closing date.
