In a bid to encourage people to host a tea party and raise money for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, the charity has produced an entertaining video highlighting the different attitudes that cats and dogs have to food.

The Battersea Tea Party will take place on 24 October and participants can register to take part in a Purr-fect tea party or a Ruff ’n’ Ready tea party.

The charity suggests that cat lovers could prepare “delicately-crafted” cakes with tea and sandwiches and that dog lovers could indulge in gooey Eton mess and big slabs of tray bakes.
