Clore programme publishes free leadership guide for charities

30 Nov 2016 News

A framework setting out the key capabilities for charity leaders has been published today by Clore Social Leadership, along with a list of charity leaders who have won fellowships for its 2017 programme.

The Social Leaders’ Capabilities Framework, a leadership guide for the sector, outlines a set of principles which sector leaders need to follow, and a set of attributes sector leaders should strive to develop.

Clore Social Leadership is a charity which works to develop sector leaders' capabilities. Each year it offers fellowships to sector professionals to develop their leadership potential, and this year's cohort of 24 has been announced today.

“Today’s social leaders are required to work in an increasingly complex environment’, said Shaks Ghosh, chief executive of Clore Social Leadership. “This framework was developed incorporating current issues and foresight trends, and our 2017 Fellows will be immersed in it to ensure they understand what is required of them to help alleviate future needs and challenges.”
