After three months as guest-editor of Civil Society's flagship publication, Charity Finance magazine, former Charity Commission chief executive Andrew Hind has accepted the job on a permanent basis.
Andrew recently stepped down after six years as chief executive of the Commission, which put him at the centre of charity regulation and policy. In October he accepted the opportunity to guest-edit Charity Finance for its February, March and April issues. With two successful editions under his belt, Andrew is welcomed as the permanent editor.
"I am delighted to announce that Andrew Hind has accepted the role of editor of Charity Finance and will take over with immediate effect," said Daniel Phelan, Civil Society Media editor-in-chief.
"I hand over the reins with great pleasure and confidence as Andrew’s experience makes him uniquely qualified for this role," he added.
Andrew's experience in the sector is far-reaching. A chartered accountant by trade he has been finance director of Action Aid, director of corporate resources at Barnardo’s, founding member of the Charity Finance Director's Group and has held numerous trusteeships in his time within the sector.
