Disability charity Scope is encouraging people to give clothing they no longer need to its charity shops this month and has released a spoof video of an iconic Levi's jeans advert to do so.

The video shows model Jack Eyers, who had his leg amputated at the age of 16, walking into a Scope charity shop to donate his clothes, but they happen to be the clothes he is wearing. Other shoppers look on as in shock as Eyers strips to his underwear.

It ends with the line: “We need your clothes. But please, not the ones you’re wearing.”

The film is part of Scope’s campaign to get one million items donated to its shops in July. The charity says that one bag of donated clothes could raise around £20 for Scope, which could pay for one physiotherapy session for a disabled child or adult.

The film is a spoof of the memorable Levi's jeans advert which was released in 1985, where a man strips to his boxers in a launderette.
