Henry Smith Foundation – Equity in Justice Fund

Grants available: 13 grants of £200,000 available
Deadline to apply: 5 August for expression of interest.  
Who is the funding for: Organisations working with racially minoritised young men aged 18–25 in contact with the criminal justice system in the UK.
When will you hear back: Final decisions will be made by end of December 2026.

National Lottery Community Foundation – Change Makers Programme

Grants available: £1m to £5m.
Deadline to apply: 5 August.
Who is the funding for:  Organisations supporting community leaders, whose projects are expected to run for 5 years starting from summer 2027.

Quaker Housing Trust – two funding pots

Grants available:  Project development grants offer up to £6,000 of funding, while capital loans and grants offer interest-free loans of up to £30,000 with a 5% administration fee payable at the end of the 10-year loan period, as well as up to £20,000 grants to eligible applicants.
Deadline to apply: Applications for project development grants close on 11 August, while applications for capital loans and grants close on 18 August.
Who is the funding for: Registered charities with less than £1.5m annual turnover, operating in England, Scotland, Wales, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.
When will you hear back: 8 October.

The Fore – unrestricted funding opportunities

Grants available:  Up to £45,000 over 1-3 years.
Deadline to apply: 15 July.
Who is the funding for: UK-based registered charities, CIOs, CICs, or CBSs with an annual turnover of less than £500,000.
When will you hear back: Mid-October.

CLA Charitable Trust 

Grants available: Grants up to £10,000.
Deadline to apply: 27 July for expressions of interest, and 24 August for full grant applications.
Who is the funding for: Registered charities or community interest companies, preferably with a turnover of less than £1.5m.
When will you hear back: By the end of October 2026.

DCMS – Youth Matters Fund delivery partner competition

Grants available: Organisation to oversee £400m Youth Matters Fund.
Deadline to apply: 21 August.
Who is the funding for: A single grant recipient (or consortium) to lead the Youth Matters Fund (YMF). The recipient must be a charitable, benevolent, or philanthropic organisation with the capacity, capability, and experience to manage a grant programme of this scale and complexity.
When will you hear back: Not specified.
