Mayor of London – summer funding

Grants available: Three tiers of grants up to £100,000.
Deadline to apply: 11am, 8 May 2026.
Who is the funding for: Civil society projects that strengthen communities against extremism, encourage more Londoners to stand up to hate and intolerance, safeguard Londoners vulnerable to radicalisation and stop the spread of hateful and supremacist ideologies. Projects should be completed by 31 March 2027.
When will you hear back: Application decisions are expected in August, with projects starting in September.

The Fore – summer funding

Grants available: Unrestricted grants of up to £30,000 over one to three years.
Deadline to apply: Opens 12pm on 25 March, closes 12pm on 1 April.​​​​​​​
Who is the funding for: UK charities, CIOs and CICs which are small and medium-sized organisations looking to build capacity. Organisations that are innovative and have high potential that are usually overlooked by larger funders.​​​​​​​
When will you hear back: 2 April (first round), end of May (stage one), July (final decision).

Groundwork – grassroots grants

Grants available: Between £500 and £2,000 in unrestricted funding.​​​​​​​
Deadline to apply: Applications are open and will be until September.​​​​​​​
Who is the funding for: Voluntary and community organisations, including charities, with an annual income of less than £25,000. These organisations will work in communities within the top 15% most deprived areas. They will support marginalised or vulnerable communities.​​​​​​​
When will you hear back: Within 10 weeks of submission.

Help the Homeless – main grants

Grants available: Up to £5,000.​​​​​​​
Deadline to apply: 5pm on 20 March.
Who is the funding for: UK charities with an annual turnover of less than £500,000. These organisations must work with people experiencing homelessness. They should also be capital projects and it must be two years since any previous grant from the trust.
When will you hear back: Within eight weeks of the relevant quarterly deadline.

Lethersellers’ Foundation – main grants

Grants available: Between £20,000 and £25,000 annually up to four years in unrestricted funding.​​​​​​​
Deadline to apply: Expressions of interest are due by 5pm on 30 April​​​​​​​.
Who is the funding for: Registered charities with an annual income between £200,000 and £2m. They should have a core charity focus on preventing or reducing the harm of adverse childhood experiences.
When will you hear back: Select charities will be invited to make a full application by 10am, 18 June 2026.
