Steve Gray, who joined Nuffield Health as chief executive last week, has unveiled a new executive board, which has involved two of the previous team leaving to “pursue other interests”.

A spokeswoman for the charity said that KP Doyle, who was deputy chief executive, along with Rebecca Granger, group digital services director, have “decided to leave the organisation to pursue other interests”. Both still list Nuffield Health as their current employer on their LinkedIn profiles.

Gray has appointed two people from outside the charity to new roles and is looking for someone to fill a third.

Alan Payne has been recruited to the role of chief information and digital officer. He joins from Bupa, where he was group digital director. In February Caroline Smith will join as business development director. A statement said the person to fill the role of the chief commercial officer will be announced “shortly”.

Andrew Jones, who was previously managing director of wellness, has become chief operating officer and Greg Hyatt continues as chief finance officer. Luke Talbutt also remains in his role as general counsel and company secretary.

There have been two internal promotions to the board. Davina Deniszczyc, who was wellbeing medical director, becomes medical director. And Debbie Mansfield becomes the human resources director.

Marcus Powell who was group organisational development and human resources director, has joined the Kings Fund.

Gray said: “Creating one Nuffield Health sets us up for success, placing our members, patients and customers at the centre of all we do. The new executive board has a great combination of healthcare and business knowledge; it’s a mix of the existing executive board, internal promotions and new faces and I believe it has everything it needs to be an extremely high performing leadership team.”
