London South Bank University has launched three new postgraduate courses in civil society aimed at professionals in the sector.

There are three MSc options in financial management, marketing and fundraising and in management.

Students will be able to study part time or through distance learning and there are postgraduate certificate and diploma options.

The university has been offering courses in charity management for almost 20 years and Nigel Scott, principal lecturer in charity accounting and financial management said: “This is the next step in recognising that managers across civil society require a thorough grounding in management, finance and fundraising.”

The courses all start in September and the fee for the full masters’ courses is £4,300.
