Children's charity the Rainbow Trust has secured a fundraising partnership worth at least £300,000 with the global bank Nomura.
The bank's employees voted for the charity, currently celebrating its 25th anniversary, to win the two-year partnership ahead of more than 20 other bidders.
The bank's latest partnership raised more than £1m for the Teenage Cancer Trust. The partnership with Rainbow Trust aims to raise at least £300,000 through fundraising activities designed and implemented by Nomura, with a dedicated project manager at Nomura's London offices.
Heather Wood, chief executive of Rainbow Trust said: "This is fantastic news for Rainbow Trust, and currently makes Nomura our biggest corporate supporter. I would like to say a big thank you to Nomura for choosing Rainbow Trust; this is a wonderful boost for the charity, expanding our research by 20 per cent."
The Rainbow Trust provides expert social palliative care to families where their child has a life threatening or terminal illness and relies predominantly on voluntary donations.
