Chartered accountancy firm, Kingston Smith, is inviting charities to apply for its first Creative Vision Award to win the opportunity to have an animated film created by professional animators for free.
To be in with a chance of winning the award, which the firm values at £150,000, charities need to explain how a film would help them to promote their cause and suggest some content ideas, such as key messages and a possible scenario.
Applications will be judged by a panel of media and charity experts and the winning film will produced in the summer of 2015. The film will be created using the latest visual effects and animation techniques and will be suitable for use on television, social media and online.
Nick Brooks, head of not-for-profit at Kingston Smith, said: “Having recently supported Aardman’s short film commemorating World War One, 'The Flight of the Stories', we realised there was an opportunity to do something exciting and unique in the sector by bringing charity and film together; two sectors that Kingston Smith is well established in.
“By offering charities the opportunity to work with film producers completely free of charge, we are delighted to support the production of something creative, tangible and positive to raise awareness of a worthwhile cause.”
The deadline to apply is 2 February 2015 and application forms are available on Kingston Smith’s website.
