The Institute of Fundraising and Small Charities Coalition has launched a joint survey asking for the views of smaller charities on the ongoing reforms to fundraising self-regulation.
The survey was sent out in an email to members by the IoF on 18 December 2015. According to the email, signed by both Peter Lewis, chief executive of the IoF (pictured) and John Barrett, acting chief executive of the SCC, all responses will be kept confidential to the IoF and the Small Charities Coalition.
While most of the 20 survey questions require respondents to “tick a box” there is space to give “reasons for you answers in some places” as well as a few questions specific to respondents and their charities.
The survey is part of the IoF and Small Charities Coalition’s ongoing joint initiative which was first announced in November 2015. The survey was promised at “some point after” the fundraising summit held on 4 December 2015.
A spokesman for the IoF said at the time that it was the “hope” of the two organisations that the outcomes of the survey would be taken on board by the new regulator, Fundraising Preference Survey working group and NCVO.
The survey will close on 15 January 2016.
