Charity Bank has announced the appointment of six new trustees to help develop its range of social investment services.
The new faces include former Welsh finance minister Andrew Davies and chief executive of the Barrow Cadbury Trust Sara Llewellin who boasts a 30-year career in the sector.
As the only bank in the UK which is also a registered charity, Charity Bank agreed more than £34m in new loans to charities and social enterprises in 2010. The Bank hopes its new appointments will help build on this record.

Our new trustees bring experience and expertise that will help ensure that the bank is in the right place to lead the market in this area.”
