For over a year many charity staff have been working from home, in-line with government advice. That official instruction to avoid offices if possible lifted on Monday 19 July, but few expect things to return to exactly how they were pre-pandemic.

Some people are keen to get back to office life, but others want to retain some of the flexibility of working from home. There are also people who are understandably nervous about crowded spaces and busy public transport routes. 

The government's instruction to work from home if possible was lifted in July and its latest guidance can be found here.
