Sir Clive Booth

Sir Clive Booth left the Big Lottery Fund board in November 2010 where he was chair and had been involved with since 2004.

In January 2011 he was appointed to the board of Lloyds TSB Foundation.

His primary expertise lies in education where he has worked across many roles since 1975: as a senior civil servant in the Department for Education, associate HM Inspector of Schools, chief executive of Oxford Brookes University and senior education adviser to the World Bank and British Council to name a few.

He graduated with a first class honours degree in science from Cambridge University and received a doctorate in public finance from the University of California, Berkeley.

Sir Clive also works with the National Offender Management Service on reducing re-offending and was previously chair of the national police training body Centrex.
