Nick Aldridge

Nick is CEO of MissionFish (UK), a UK registered charity which helps charities raise funds online. MissionFish’s major initiative is eBay for Charity, a unique programme that has helped UK charities raise over £32m.

Nick is also chair of Empty Homes, a national charity working to bring more empty homes back into use, and is a trustee of GlobalGiving (UK).

He holds the Institute of Directors qualification in company directorship and a first class philosophy degree from Cambridge. His essay on technology and philanthropy was published with the government’s green paper on giving.

He joined MissionFish from Acevo, where as director of strategy he led its policy and professional development teams for three years. He also worked for a year at the Cabinet Office on public service reform.

Nick is married with two children and lives in London. In his spare time, Nick plays jazz guitar and badminton, and is a part-time philosopher.
