City Bridge Trust

Grants available: up to £20,000

Who is the funding for? 
City Bridge Trust has awarded £100,000 to Money4YOU for a Dragon’s Den special awards ceremony where organisations can make pitches for the funding. Only Black, Asian, Multi-Ethnic and Refugee-led (BAMER) organisations are eligible to pitch. Interested organisations must buy a ticket to the event, apply to pitch, and send a short pitching video. The event is on 20 October in Southwark., south London.

DCMS – VSCE Contract Readiness Fund

Grants available: up to £900,000 to be spent over three financial years.
Deadline to apply: 22 September
Who is the funding for?
Applicants must be from a charity or other institution that is established for charitable, benevolent or philanthropic purposes. They must be UK entities and have traded in the UK for more than 12 months. DCMS will enable the voluntary, community, and social enterprise sector to complete alongside other organisations and increase its participation in public service procurement.

Aviva Community Fund – Cost of living support

Grants available: Match funding

Who is the funding for?
The increase in demand for services due to the cost-of-living crisis has led Aviva to add an additional £2m to provide match-funding for charities. Aviva will match fund projects of registered charities or social enterprises with an income of up to £2m looking to raise up to £50,000. Organisations can apply to the Aviva Community Fund and receive matched funding for public donations from 4 October.

Prince’s Countryside Fund – Supporting rural communities

Grants available: up to £25,000
Deadline to apply: 11 October
Who is the funding for?
The PCF has a funding pot of £250,000 and is interested in funding projects that will make a difference in rural communities across the UK.
Applications from Wales and Northern Ireland, in particular, are being encouraged, but communities from across the UK are eligible.

POhWER – Arthur Bate Fund

Grants available: up to £2,000 
Deadline to apply: 31 October
Disability charity POhWER have launched the second round of its Arthur Bate Fund to commemorate its founder and trustee who died in 2013. 
Who is the funding for?
The fund is available to support those who want to become a trustee, volunteer, education or health. A group could receive funding to create an advocacy group, peer support group, self-advocacy group or a volunteering group. Support may include venue hire refreshments, promotion, technology or training. 
When will you hear back?
Up to two months
