The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) has appointed business technology company the Amor Group to create the infrastructure for online filing of annual returns and accounts and aims to launch the service later this year.
The regulator’s integrated reporting project will also streamline OSCR’s monitoring programme and improve the Scottish Charity Register by displaying more information, including graphically-displayed financial highlights.
OSCR began the project in 2009 and the Glasgow-based Amor Group will carry out the technical work required to enable its implementation.
Jane Ryder (pictured), OSCR’s chief executive, said: “Integrated reporting will provide new services and efficiencies for charities and enhanced information for the donating public.”
