The Charities Aid Foundation has appointed Colin Walton as head of charities, in charge of charity/client relationships and business development.
Walton joins from the Co-operative Bank where he was senior manager of the Specialist Charity Team. At CAF he will manage a 14-strong team dedicated to meeting the finance and fundraising needs of charities, reporting to Russell Prior, director of enterprise and philanthropy.
He replaces Mark Morford who has moved across to manage the launch of CAF’s new investment service. The role was covered by Mark Scott until Walton was appointed.
Walton said: “I’m delighted to have joined CAF and firmly believe that these are exciting times with the launch of new and innovative products which will only serve to enhance what is already an impressive and wide range of services for our charity customers.”
