Recovery, a mental health charity set up by survivors of mental health problems in Leicester, has created a user-led docudrama based on the life stories of four survivors.

'I'm a survivor, get me out of here' explores the struggle for human rights and the fight for wellbeing of people with mental health problems. The film will premiere at Phoenix Square in Leicester on Saturday at 6pm.

A spokesperson at the charity said:

"The film will be distributed at the launch event and at market stalls and mental health conferences locally and nationally.

"We hope the film will win awards, be shown at film festivals and be useful for training of professionals and survivors in good mental health practice."
