Last chance for early bird tickets to the Charity Finance Summit

07 Sep 2017 Conferences

The early-bird discount for tickets to the Charity Finance Summit, organised by Civil Society Media, ends tomorrow.

This year’s programme includes a discussion with William Shawcross, chair of the Charity Commission. There is also a mix of experts on VAT and tax, investment and risk and strategy sharing their knowledge and providing updates.

This year’s theme is ‘leading from finance’ and the opening keynote, from a high profile speaker on security and geopolitics, will consider leadership in uncertain times.

At the end of the day delegates will hear from Shawcross, who will reflect on his time as chair of the Commission in conversation with Andrew Hind, professor of charity governance and finance, Cass Business School, and a former chief executive of the Commission.

They will discuss what the future might have in store for the Commission, its relationship with the sector and its role in helping to promote public trust and confidence.

The Charity Finance Summit takes place on 17 October 2017 in London. Book by 8 September to save £50. Full programme and booking details available here.
