Fundraising juggernaut Help for Heroes has donated £1m to a £4m capital campaign by St Dunstan’s.

Fundraising juggernaut Help for Heroes has donated £1m to a £4m capital campaign by St Dunstan’s.

St Dunstan’s, which works with blind ex-service personnel, has announced that the gym in its North Wales Rehabilitation and Training Centre will be named after the three-year old charity in honour of its donation.

St Dunstan’s chief executive Robert Leader said his charity “look forward to building our relationship with Help for Heroes”.

Meanwhile, Help for Heroes has been named the charity partner of independent living event Naidex South. The event will involve the charity having a stand and also giving a talk to delegates about  Help for Heroes mission and fundraising.
