Guide Dogs and Barnardo’s to speak at Charity Property Conference

The programme for the tenth annual Charity Property Conference, organised by Civil Society Media, has been announced, with sessions on the impact of Brexit, dealing with disaster and charity retail lined up. 

Sir Stuart Etherington, chief executive of NCVO, will chair the opening panel discussion looking at how the decision to leave the European Union will affect the property market. 

He will be joined by Alex Baily, portfolio director of Cazenove Charities, Melanie Leech, chief executive of the British Property Federation and Andrew O’Brien, head of policy and engagement at the Charity Finance Group. 

In the afternoon representatives from Guide Dogs will host a session on dealing with disaster and there will be a panel discussion on the future of charity shops.  

There will also be sessions on sustainability and ethical property and round table discussions looking at different aspects of strategy.
