DSC launches online funding resource

25 Jan 2019 News

A website that allows charities to search and apply for funding was launched on Wednesday by the Directory of Social Change (DSC).

The website, Funds Online, aims to link charities to 8,000 funders, who between them can provide £8bn in funding.

Charities can subscribe to different packages, ranging from accessing funding information about trusts, corporate donors, and national and international government sources.

The website has been developed by combining data from four previous websites run by the directory: Trustfunding.org.uk, Governmentfunding.org.uk, Companygiving.org.uk and Grantsforindividuals.org.uk and rationalises the different services into one website.

Debra Allcock Tyler, chief executive of DSC said that the new service will save charities “lots of time” when applying for funds.

Charity subscriptions range from £420 for one user license to £1,416 to 100-15 user licenses.

Civil Society Media's one-day fundraising conference, Fundraising Live, takes place on 7 February. View the programme and book your place here.
