Malaria No More has launched a new campaign featuring mosquitoes hidden behind seasonal disguises, starting with Mozzy Santa.

The Nowhere to Hide campaign aims to raise awareness of malaria and encourage people to get involved with the charity.

With the charity having no advertising budget, the campaign was created at low cost by creative agency Kindred and wildlife photographer David Maitland, using mosquitoes provided by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine’s Malaria Centre.

The print adverts feature a QR code which will take the reader to a 30-second video featuring all of the disguises and Malaria No More is hoping that newspapers and magazines will donate advertising space to the campaign.  So far The Independent has offered space in its magazine.

The charity also hopes that the campaign will be promoted by its supporters through social networks. David Beckham has posted on Facebook about the campaign.
