Jerome Moisan has been appointed as the new managing director of Blackbaud Europe, charged with leading the company’s growth across the continent.

The French national joins Blackbaud from Travelport where he has been employed for nine years and is currently managing director of operations in UK, Ireland and France. Moisan will take up post on 31 October this year and has a brief to create opportunities for growth of the company, already the biggest supplier of customer relationship management software to the UK market. Acquisitions as well as partnerships are being touted as avenues for growth.

While Travelport is a travel technology company, Moisan said he is keen to get involved in the charity sector.

“It’s a sector I find inspiring and intricate in its fundraising and management needs. There are huge opportunities for not-for-profit organisations to transform their performance by taking greater advantage of technology,” he said.

“For me, the role presents the right kind of challenge, and I’m looking forward to contributing to the ongoing success and growth of Blackbaud Europe."

Moisan replaces earlier this year after five years in post.
