Navca publishes guide to commissioning for trustees

Navca and the Local Government Association have launched a free guide for charity trustees about commissioning and tendering for public services, as part of Trustees’ Week.

At your bidding outlines all the key issues that trustees of local charities should be aware of when deciding whether to embark on public service delivery. It is not a ‘how-to-tender manual’ but provides information to help trustees understand the potential implications and impact of commissioning on their charity.

And it contains information to help them bid for service contracts and ensure their organisation is ready for the tendering process and able to deliver the contract.

All trustees can download the guide for free from Navca’s website.
