Street Pastors - the Movie

Every Friday and Saturday night, in town and city centres up and down the country, teams of Street Pastors are out and about to offer people care, practical help and a listening ear, whatever their circumstances.

Drawn from churches, they take care of thousands of pubbers and clubbers whose evening has taken a turn for the worse. Each Street Pastor team consists of at least three groups of four, each of which will work a minimum of one night a month, usually from 10pm to around 4am.

There are now some 9,000 trained volunteers in around 250 teams around the United Kingdom.

This film aims to make their work visible to a wider audience, and prompt more people to sign up to become a Street Pastor.
