Animal health company, Merial, asked its media company to produce a fun festive video to accompany its Christmas campaign, Share the Joy, and competition for charities to win £2,000.
The three animal charities with the most public votes will win an equal share of £6,000. So far Wood Green is in the lead with 874 votes, followed by Battersea Dogs and Cats Home (698) and the Feline Advisory Bureau (547). The other charities in the running are Dogs for the Disabled, Dogs Trust and Hounds for Heroes.
Merial has launced a microsite for the campaign, www.sharethejoy.co.uk. Voting closes on 2 January and the winners will be announced in early January. Voters are also being entered into a prizedraw to win one of three iPhones.
