Save the Children UK has followed up its controversial First Day advert by visiting  the mother and baby who featured one year on.

Save the Children UK has followed up its controversial First Day advert by visiting  the mother and baby who featured one year on.

Earlier this week the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) dismissed 600 complaints about the advert Save the Children. The ad had been criticised for being too graphic, and exploiting the mother.

The update shows T-Girl and baby Melvin meeting up with the midwife Watta and watching the first advert. T-Girl recalls how scary it was when Melvin was born and explains how she advises her friends to go to the clinic.
