A montage of people dressing up in chicken costumes and demonstrating the cramped conditions that many chickens live in has been produced by RSPCA as part of Farm Animal Week.

Last week RSPCA challenged people to raise sponsorship by spending 20 minutes standing on a piece of A4 paper and held three events with campaigners dressed in chicken suits in London, Cardiff and Birmingham.

Jumping on board the selfie bandwagon, RSPCA also encourage supporters to take a ‘squashie’ by cramming as many people into photo as possible before sharing on social and donating by text.
