The British Red Cross’s latest film focuses on the breadth of the charity’s work in the UK and internationally while emphasising that it treats everyone equally.
By juxtaposing the work it does in war-torn countries with emergency first aid activity in the UK the charity manages to highlight the range of things it does but steers clear of making judgements about the relative importance of different programmes. The voiceover states: “All we see is someone who needs our help – and we give it.”
The 40 second TV ad will be shown over the weekend.
Every Friday civilsociety.co.uk features an innovative or effective use of film by a charity. If you would like to draw our attention to your charity's film, or even someone else's please email [email protected]
