To mark 100 days since 223 Nigerian schoolgirls were abducted by Boko Haram, ActionAid has carried out fresh interviews with their relatives and campaigners to urge the government to do more to rescue the girls.

To mark 100 days since 223 Nigerian schoolgirls were abducted by Boko Haram, ActionAid has carried out fresh interviews with their relatives and campaigners to urge the government to do more to rescue the girls.

As well as the lasting impact on the girls’ families and  communitiesy, the film highlights the ramifications of the Chibok kidnapping across Nigeria, with children's fear of going to school making it harder for ActionAid to encourage more children into education.

ActionAid's country director in Nigeria is Dr Hussaini Abdu. He said: "The Nigerian government must not only do more to find the girls and bring them home, they must invest in developing and securing schools against attack."
