For the eighth day of Civil Society Media’s 12 Days of Christmas, we feature the Children’s Society’s Caroloke campaign. Rate the campaign to win a hamper and a free place at one of our events.

The Children’s Society is hoping to spread a bit of Christmas cheer and raise money with its Caroloke challenge, by following in the viral challenge steps of #nomakeupselfie and #icebucketchallenge.

People are being urged film themselves singing their favourite festive tune and upload it to Facebook or Twitter, donate by text or online and nominate friends and family.

To help the charity has produced a guide to shooting video.
