Places are now available for a one-day training course on digital trends aimed at charity trustees that will take place in November.

The course has been organised by Civil Society Media and will be run by Zoe Amar, co-author of the Charity Commission guidance on digital for trustees. It will focus on understanding which digital trends are critical for good governance, how to manage risk, and what every charity board should be doing to delegate digital effectively.

The course complements Civil Society Media's existing training programme for trustees and its annual Charity Technology Conference.

Taking place on 21 November 2017 the training course is packed with insights to help charities thrive in the fast moving digital age.

Sessions will address what digital really means, why it matters, and resourcing issues around funding digital strategies, as well as tips for trustees on social media.

It will also look at key trends such as artificial intelligence, and showcase practical steps every board should take to improve its governance in the digital age.

Tickets start from £195 and the training day will take place at Kingston Smith’s offices in London.
