Why work with us?
The small team of advisors who work solely for Civil Society Jobs help charities find their next employee by carefully and precisely targeting your vacancy right in the eyes of those most suitable. We can do that because we have a niche audience of high-calibre readers across our respected editorial platforms – Charity Finance, Fundraising, Governance & Leadership and civilsociety.co.uk.
What's different about recruiting with Civil Society Jobs?
"We had a great response. We placed it on a few websites and found that the high quality candidates came through Civil Society Jobs." (Knowledge Peers)
As a charity trying to fill a vacancy, you’ve got a lot of choice. You can pay a recruitment consultant to do all the initial legwork for you. But we all know that times are tight. Or you can go to one of the big national recruitment websites, pay your money, and get thrown into the mix. You’ll probably get plenty of response… but too much of the wrong thing is never helpful.
Alternatively, you can come to Civil Society Jobs, pay as little as £100 and target only the people you want to hear from.
That’s exactly what Redbridge Carers Centre did recently. They came to us because they had four vacancies, each requiring specific skills. We built a month-long campaign for them, which included adverts across our print and digital portfolios. How did it work out for them?
“We advertised for four positions on Civil Society Jobs and had great responses for each. We will definitely use Civil Society Jobs to advertise again in the future and would recommend the company to others.”
