Sally Kirby
Sally is a specialist audit partner in the firm’s not for profit team, having joined in 2013 from Crowe Clark Whitehill. Sally has acted for a variety of charitable and not for profit organisations, including major fundraising charities, service delivery charities, charities operating internationally, membership organisations including Royal medical colleges, grant making trusts, and smaller local charities. She is experienced in providing risk management and internal audit services to charities, and supporting and advising trustee boards, particularly in the areas of trustee responsibilities and effective reporting.
She is a Chartered Accountant (FCA) and was one of the first charity advisors to achieve the ICAEW’s Diploma in Charity Accounting. She is an accomplished speaker within the not for profit sector, and writes on a variety of issues including charity accounting and reporting, internal audit, risk management, governance, and operational challenges. She also lectures at Cass Business School on the MSc course in charity accounting and financial Management, awarded by City University.
