Ruth Ruderham became director of fundraising at Canal and River Trust in July 2011. She previously spent three years as head of fundraising at Christian Aid. 

Prior to this she was head of supporter development at Friends of the Earth. 

She is a trustee for Oxfam and was Fundraising magazine's Fundraiser of the Year Award winner in 2005.
