Richard Jenkins

Head of policy

Richard Jenkins is a head of policy at the Association of Charitable Foundations.

He was previously an independent research and consultant in the charity sector with a focus on charitable foundations.

He has been a trustee of a grantmaking endowed charitable foundation and chief executive of an educational charity. When he was a civil servant he led implementation of key funding elements of the 2002 Treasury Cross Cutting Review into the role of the voluntary and community sector in the delivery of public services.

He is the author of the report The Governance and Financial Management of Endowed Charitable Foundations.

As well as carrying out independent commissions he is currently helping the Association of Charitable Foundations develop its policy function.
