Kath Abrahams

Director of engagement and income generation

Kath Abrahams was appointed director of fundraising at Breakthrough Breast Cancer in early 2011 to replace Chris Askew after his promotion to chief executive in November 2010. In February 2013 she was appointed to the role of director of engagement and income generation, following a management restructure.

Abrahams made the move after twelve years of fundraising at the NSPCC where her last role was as the charity’s development director responsible for volunteer-led fundraising. During this tenure she helped the charity to raise significant funds for children.

Previously she spent four years as campaign manager on the charity’s FULL STOP Appeal before taking up her role as director of fundraising at ChildLine, around the time of its merger with the NSPCC.
