Elizabeth Petch

Petch is a solicitor in the public and regulatory department of Bates Wells & Braithwaite, with particular experience in drafting, interpreting and advising on codes of practice, their application and the principles involved in bringing prosecutions.

She undertook a long-term secondment at the office of a regulator and therefore has first-hand experience of the practical working of such organisations. She acted as legal clerk to the regulator’s tribunal, which adjudicated on potential breaches of the organisation’s code of practice.
