Diane Lightfoot

Diane Lightfoot has 14 years’ experience of communications and marketing, including 12 years in the voluntary sector.  Diane joined United Response as director of communications and fundraising in March 2004.

Her responsibilities include all aspects of communications, including marketing press and PR, events, publications, social media, policy and campaigns. She is also responsible for all of the charity’s fundraising and has joint corporate responsibility for business development and for personalisation. 

Before joining United Response, Diane spent four years as head of marketing for the National Council of Voluntary Organisations (NCVO). Prior to this, she was head of marketing at the Pre-school Learning Alliance, a national children’s educational charity. 

Diane is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has a degree in music from the University of Sussex.
