David Emerson
David Emerson CBE, is chief executive of the Association of Charitable Foundations, the professional membership association for the UK’s charitable trusts and grantmaking foundations.
His previous experience includes running the trade association for regional theatre in the UK; working for the NCVO; working in theatrical management and production in the West End; and with Rural Community Councils.
He is married to Baroness Jill Pitkeathley OBE, the chair of CHRE.
In January 2015 he was awarded a CBE as part of the New Years Honours list.
