Caroline Stockmann

Caroline Stockmann is chief financial officer at Save the Children International.

In June 2014 she will start as chief financial officer of the British Council.

Caroline will join the British Council’s executive and management boards and will be the lead for finance professionals globally.

At Save the Children International she heads up finance, legal and IT, bringing together all international programmes into one organisation.

She was previously financial and commercial director for the South Bank Centre. She joined the South Bank Centre in October 2007 from Swiss pharmaceutical company Novartis where she was head of global business planning. She had also been chief financial officer at Unilever Thailand.

Originally from Switzerland, Stockmann studied German and music at Durham University before becoming a qualified chartered accountant.
