National Lottery Community Fund: Solidarity Fund

Grants available: £1m to £5m to be spent over five to 10 years.
Deadline to apply: Ongoing.
Who is the funding for? Organisations in England tackling the root causes of poverty, disadvantage and discrimination – 10 awards expected to be made in 2025-26.
When will you hear back? Up to three months to get a decision at the first stage.

BFBS: Big Salute 

Grants available: Up to £10,000.
Deadline to apply: 31 October 2025.
Who is the funding for? Registered charities with an annual income below £1m. Purpose-led projects supporting UK armed forces personnel, veterans and their families including service children.

Community Foundation NI: Equity in Action Fund

Grants available: Between £3,000 and £5,000.

Who is the funding for? Grassroots organisations in Northern Ireland tackling hate crimes, misinformation, and disinformation, particularly those working to promote peace, inclusion, and justice.

Social and Sustainable Capital: SASH II

Grants available: 10-year loans of £1m to £5m.

Who is the funding for? Charities providing supported housing to Scotland’s most disadvantaged individuals, including people affected by homelessness, domestic abuse, substance misuse, involvement with the justice system or transitions from care.
