Charles Hayward Foundation – Main Grants Programme 

Grants available: Up to £15,000. 
Deadline to apply: Unspecified. 
Who is the funding for? Any UK-registered charity with an annual income between £150,000 and £4m and which deliver projects in Commonwealth countries in Africa, and aim to “improve the livelihoods of disadvantaged communities” in these areas.
When will you hear back? Unspecified.

Paul Hamlyn Foundation – Youth Fund

Grants available: Up to £150,000 over three years (up to £50,000 per year). 
Deadline to apply: Rolling application deadline. 
Who is the funding for? Non-profit organisations (including charities) working with young people aged 14-25 and with an annual income over £30,000 but under £3.5m.
When will you hear back? Unspecified.

National Churches Trust – Medium grants

Grants available: £3,000 up to £10,000. 
Deadline to apply: 17 December 2024. 
Who is the funding for? Listed and unlisted Christian places of worship across the UK; potential applicants also must answer “yes” to a series of eligibility questions to then apply for the funding.
When will you hear back? Unspecified, although the committee who makes funding decisions meets three times a year to do so.

Foyle Foundation – Small Grants Scheme

Grants available: £2,000 up to £10,000.  
Deadline to apply: 31 January 2025. 
Who is the funding for? Smaller charities with an annual income of less than £150,000, especially those working at grass roots or local community level, in any field, across a wide range of activities.
When will you hear back? Within four months of applying.
